			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Welcome to the Grantham Historical Society website.<span> </span>An important part of the society&rsquo;s mission is the promotion of the town&rsquo;s considerable history and helping people to understand its importance.<span> </span>Our website is an essential tool for this purpose.<span> </span>On it you will find our mission, a brief history of the town, and news and events, plus links to genealogy, publications, our small but growing library, and membership information.<span> </span>Like the organization itself, our website will evolve over time and will include audio/visual presentations, video and relevant historical publications, much of which we hope to make available for download.<span> </span>Please come back often, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.   </p>
