• Journals: A small number of scholarly journals, dating from 1967, are in our Library. However, complete sets have not been collected. We have copies of Historical New Hampshire, published by the New Hampshire Historical Society, as well as copies of New Hampshire Archeologist. Click here – Journals list – for dates and volumes.
  • Town of Grantham Annual Reports: A complete working set of town reports is available for use. These supplement the bound copies in the Town Archives and are intended for regular use in place of the archival set.
  • Leavitt Almanacs: Issues of the Leavitt Almanacs, a competitor to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, are available in the GHS Archives. These date from 1841 to 1938 but we do not have all years. Click here for a list.
  • Annual Reports: Issues of the Annual Reports of the Commissioners, Treasurer and Other County Officers of Sullivan County, scattered from 1873 to 2000, have been collected because names of Grantham residents can be found in them. Click here – annual reports – for a list of dates.
  • Civil War Regimental Histories: Allen Walker, president of GHS, has loaned us a number of Civil War regimental histories which remain in the GHS lbrary for general use. Click here for a list.
  • Town Histories: In preparation for the writing of the History of Grantham which is currently underway, a number of town histories from New Hampshire and Vermont have been purchased for review. Click here for a list.
  • Dartmouth College Library Bulletins: We currently have five issues – April 1993 (Vol. 33 No. 2); November 1995 (Vol. 34 No. 1); November 1997 (Vol. 38 No. 1); November 1998 (Vol. 39 No. 1); April 2002 (Vol. 42 No. 2).
